I know it's been a while, things have been a little hectic/crazy/overwhelming.
But here are some bullet-pointed updates on my life:
-I am going to teach Spanish full-time next year.
-I had a student first semester who gave me a lot of problems. He is a good kid, just very challenging. And last week he chose me as his favorite teacher and asked me to be with him on senior night at the baseball game. I almost cried.
-I have apparently developed allergies for the first time in my life. Boo.
-My first year of teaching is winding down. This makes me both happy and sad.
-Seesalt is coming soon! I can't wait to meet my fellow staff members. This summer is going to be amazing.
-We used this song at camp two summers ago. I recently rediscovered it and it is my anthem. Here is the chorus:
There is hope for the helpless
Rest for the weary
Love for the broken heart
There is grace and forgiveness
Mercy and healing
He'll meet you wherever you are
Cry out to Jesus, cry out to Jesus
